We are a fast-growing direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand headquartered in Cyprus, with the majority of revenue generated across the EU. We have outgrown our external accounting firm and are aiming to establish a fully in-house finance function starting 2026.&nbsp;We are looking for an experienced accountant to design and implement our internal accounting infrastructure from the ground up, using modern, automated systems (e.g., Odoo or similar) that align with our agile, data-driven culture. &nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up and manage daily bookkeeping with real-time dashboards (sales, cash, P&amp;L)</li><li>Prepare and file monthly VAT returns, quarterly OSS and VIES declarations</li><li>Handle annual VAT refund applications</li><li>Manage payroll and Social Insurance contributions</li><li>Provide ongoing cash-flow forecasts (weekly CEO review, daily CFO access)</li><li>Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audits</li><li>Establish transfer pricing framework from scratch (OECD-compliant documentation, future-proof setup)</li></ul>Your Profile<ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent</li><li>Completed ACCA / ACA qualification</li><li>3–7 years of professional experience in international/EU business environments (D2C or e-commerce preferred)</li><li>Proven expertise in: – Cyprus VAT, OSS, VIES, and refund processes – Transfer pricing setup and documentation (OECD guidelines) – Building modern cloud accounting systems (Odoo, Xero, etc.) from the ground up</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English</li><li>Eligible to work in Cyprus</li><li>Analytical, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup with flat hierarchies</li></ul>We Offer<ul><li>13th salary</li><li>Private health insurance</li><li>Fully remote within Cyprus with flexible working hours</li><li>Professional development budget</li><li>Direct reporting to CFO and CEO</li><li>Free products and team events</li><li>A potential change of the position to Full-time</li></ul>
