CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established engineering company that provides design and manufacturing solutions to the dairy and food industries, we are seeking to recruit a Procurement Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Procurement Officer, you will primarily be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials and services needed for the manufacture of dairy machinery and industrial equipment. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or another related field, who possess 2+ years of procurement experience, ideally gained working in the manufacturing and/or industrial engineering field. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and be familiar with ERP and/or MRP systems. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, and provident fund.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Process purchase requests from BOMs, warehouse levels, and departments.</li><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers (local &amp; international).</li><li>Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (imports &amp; local).</li><li>Support inventory control and resolve delivery issues.</li><li>Ensure timely procurement for production schedules.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvements.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Academic background in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>2+ years procurement experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred).</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical/industrial components is an advantage.</li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP systems.</li><li>Strong MS Office (especially Excel).</li><li>Fluency in Greek &amp; English.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Benefits:&nbsp;<ul><li>Competitive salary based on skills and experience.</li><li>13th salary.</li><li>Provident Fund.</li><li>Career development opportunities.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8712.
