Senior AuditorsEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-timeINDUSTRY: Accounting, Audit &amp; Tax Services&nbsp;Cronje &amp; Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of a client, a well-established and reputable professional services firm, is seeking to recruit competent Senior Auditors to join its professional Audit team in Nicosia.&nbsp;The successful candidates will lead and execute independent audits of companies of various sizes, planning and performing audit procedures, identifying risks, recommending solutions, participating in advanced assurance engagements, supervising junior auditors, and ensuring full compliance with AML, KYC, EDD, and transaction monitoring requirements. The role reports directly to the Audit Manager and the Head of Audit. Responsibilities<ul><li>Preparing, reviewing, and finalising audit documentation</li><li>Performing audit tests and completing working papers accurately</li><li>Conducting internal control and fieldwork evaluations</li><li>Identifying risks or errors in systems and controls</li><li>Contributing to audit planning with the Audit Manager</li><li>Supporting reviewers in EQCR, hot, and cold reviews of engagements</li><li>Liaising with clients on deadlines and obligations</li><li>Mentoring, supervising, and supporting auditors and junior auditors</li><li>Participate in advanced assurance engagements, including management reports, due diligence, and financial analysis</li><li>Completing client acceptance and continuance procedures and submitting them to the Audit Manager/Head of Audit</li><li>Reviewing client information against KYC requirements</li><li>Performing simplified and enhanced due diligence for AML purposes</li><li>Conducting transaction monitoring in line with AML policies</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Requirements<ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>ACCA/ICAEW/AIA qualified</li><li>Minimum of three years post-qualification working experience</li><li>Solid knowledge of ISAs and IFRSs, and ISQC1</li><li>Very good knowledge of AML legislation</li><li>Dedication to delivering excellence in both professional and client service</li><li>Proactive attitude and hands-on approach</li><li>Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Solid organisational skills and keen attention to detail to excel in a dynamic work environment</li><li>Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and auditing/AML software (Caseware &amp; WiseBos)</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages</li></ul>&nbsp;RemunerationA very attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and practical experience, including:<ul><li>Annual gross salary in the range of €30,000 – €38,000, with a potential 10% increase following annual performance review</li><li>Flexible working hours: Mon–Thu 8:30–17:30 (or 9:00–18:00) including a one-hour lunch break; Fri 8:30–14:30</li><li>Work-from-home option twice a week</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities to support professional growth</li><li>Collaborative, dynamic, and friendly work environment&nbsp;</li></ul>Applications:All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
