OUR FIRMProgressus is a professional firm offering a broad range of services including Accounting, Auditing, Direct and Indirect Taxation and Advisory that aim to meet our Clients’ needs.&nbsp; Our firm currently serves a wide range of local and international clients.Progressus is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious individual who shares our passion for delivering value and quality and enjoys working closely with our team of professionals.SENIOR ACCOUNTANTThe Senior Accountant which will have an assigned portfolio of local and international clients, involved in their day-to-day accounting as well as VAT obligations etc.CANDIDATE PROFILE<ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as bookkeeper and/or auditor is essential.</li><li>Strong analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to comprehend and record complex transactions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in both Greek &amp; English (Written &amp; Spoken).</li><li>Good team player with strong ethic and willingness to develop.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.</li><li>Knowledge of Caseware and payroll software will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.</li><li>High attention to detail.</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Fast learner.</li></ul>KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Keeping timely and proper accounting records for clients.</li><li>Completing VAT and VIES returns.</li><li>Performing monthly reconciliations.</li><li>Collecting necessary documentation and preparing client files for audit.</li><li>Collecting, maintaining and updating client KYC documentation.</li><li>Prepare payroll calculations and execute tax and social insurance payments.</li><li>Reporting to the Company’s Management on a monthly basis and upon request and prepare any report required by the Company’s Management.</li><li>Participation and assistance in meetings with clients.</li></ul>REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS<ul><li>An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be provided to the successful candidate depending on the qualifications and practical experience. &nbsp;Salary will be in the range of 2.000 to 2.500 per month.</li><li>13th Salary</li><li>Flexible working hours/ possibility to work from home/ with a Friday afternoon off.
