Responsibilities:&nbsp;This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients with minimal supervision·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with applicable standards·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform reconciliations of sales, receivables, purchases, payables, VAT, Social Insurance, and bank accounts·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare and submit VAT returns, VIES forms, and related reconciliations·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Process and review monthly payroll for clients·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and periodic client reports·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor financial performance and highlight variances against budgets·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and professional standards·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist with VAT, Tax, and Social Insurance registrations for companies·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare and submit related documentation to relevant authorities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain effective client relationships through clear and proactive communication·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ACCA qualified or actively working towards completion·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Expereience in VAT regulations, Social Insurance services, and Tax authorities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exposure in accounting software (e.g.E-soft, Odoo)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical and organizational skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Effective teamwork and independent working capabilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills in Greek and English·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; IT literate and adaptable·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High integrity and a positive, can-do attitude.&nbsp;Our firm offers:&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An attractive and competitive remuneration package in accordance with qualifications and experience•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The firm fully covers expenses towards ACCA/ACA qualification•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bonus based on performance•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Flexible working hours•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Three days of paid sick leave per year•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Corporate parking paid by the company•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Opportunities for professional growth and advancement•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Training events that will help both your personal and professional development paid by the company•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Participation in our various corporate events and activities.&nbsp;Application:&nbsp;If you are a motivated professional looking to advance your career and join a dynamic and growing team, please submit your resume, cover letter, and references to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:recruitment@splcy.com?subject=SeniorAccountant/1/2025">recruitment@splcy.com</a>.
