Chemical Engineer&nbsp;Location: Desalination Plant – Kouklia, Paphos&nbsp;Caramondani Desalination Plants Ltd operates a long-standing and strategically important Desalination Plant in Kouklia, Paphos, contributing reliably to Cyprus’ water supply infrastructure. The plant operates under stable, long-term arrangements, offering employees a strong sense of job security, continuity, and professional stability.&nbsp;We are looking to recruit a Chemical Engineer to join the team at our Desalination Plant in Kouklia, Paphos. This role is ideal for a professional who wishes to contribute to the efficient and sustainable production of potable water within a stable and well-structured industrial environment.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and control water quality at all stages of the desalination process and production cycle·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Carry out chemical analyses and interpret results to ensure compliance with quality standards·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform specialised tasks aimed at improving plant performance, efficiency, and operational reliability·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the plant to ensure smooth daily operations·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate and liaise with suppliers regarding chemicals, consumables, and technical matters·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and manage environmental aspects of the plant’s operations, including the collection and evaluation of environmental data in compliance with applicable regulations; support the implementation of environmental programs and contribute to the continuous improvement of environmental performance in line with environmental management systems&nbsp;Required Qualifications &amp; Skills&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience required·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong organisational and time-management skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dynamic, positive, and approachable personality·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)&nbsp;What We Offer&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive remuneration package, based on qualifications and experience·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the Group·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Group life and health insurance.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A pleasant, stable and supportive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.&nbsp;Please send your resume to <a href="mailto:careers@caramondani.com.cy">careers@caramondani.com.cy</a> We’d love to hear what drew you to this role and how you see yourself growing with us.&nbsp;Equal opportunity employment&nbsp;At Caramondani Group, we value people for who they are, not just for what they do.
