Duties and Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the Rector’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide high-level administrative and office management services to the Rector.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Handle the Rector’s correspondence, prioritising and responding as appropriate.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare letters, documents, reports and presentations using software packages.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organise and service meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain effective electronic filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise professionally with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders on behalf of the Rector.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate closely with the Rector’s Executive Assistant and other University staff to support the smooth operation of the Rector’s Office.&nbsp;Qualifications•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online tools.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Positive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability.&nbsp;Gross annual salary: €17,000&nbsp;Our package:<ul><li>25 days of Annual Leave</li><li>13th Salary</li><li>Provident Fund Scheme</li><li>Maternity/ Paternity Scheme</li><li>Discounted tuition fees opportunities for educational development for all staff member and their family members/ Scholarships</li><li>Free Access to the University Sport Facilities</li><li>Professional and Personal Development Opportunities</li></ul>&nbsp;Job Description and Person Specification&nbsp;can be obtained&nbsp;from here.&nbsp;To apply for this position, please complete the online application form available&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.uclancyprus.ac.cy/career-application-form/">here</a>.&nbsp;The closing date for applications is on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026.&nbsp;For informal enquiries, please contact the HR Department either via email at <a href="mailto:hr@uclancyprus.ac.cy">hr@uclancyprus.ac.cy</a> or call on 24 694000.
