Albourne is a global financial services group of companies with 650+ employees worldwide. Our objective is to advise our clients to be the best investors they can be. The company’s main areas of focus are fund research, portfolio and risk advice, FinTech and implementation. Albourne’s office in Nicosia opened in 1998 and it provides back office and IT services to the regulated companies of the Albourne group; it currently has over 350 dynamic employees and we are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions in 2026.

The Role
As an intern in the Operational Due Diligence Team, you will have the opportunity to learn about the alternative asset industry and play an integral role in the due diligence of hedge funds and private market funds.
Accountabilities
- Review audited financial statements to verify information provided by fund managers
- Ensure information within Albourne’s internal database is kept up to date and accurate
- Collaborate with peers to produce a research project based on an industry topic
Ad-hoc projects as assigned
What we’re looking for
- Graduates, preferably in their final year of a Bachelor or Master’s Program (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or similar)
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, performing under tight deadlines
- Interest in a career in Finance, due diligence research and the alternative investment industry
- Systems literacy in Microsoft-based products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Pleasant, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Compliance with the terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals and procedures

Job Type: Full time intern for no less than 3 month duration (1st June 2026 – 31st August 2026)
