We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Product Designer to work on the design and development of physical products, with a strong focus on manufacturability and production readiness.This role spans the full lifecycle of a product, from early concepts and prototyping through to production setup and manufacturing handoff.&nbsp;What you’ll do<ul><li>Design mechanical parts and assemblies for real, physical products</li><li>Create production-ready CAD, not just concept models</li><li>Design with materials, tolerances, assembly, durability, and cost in mind</li><li>Support prototyping and iterative testing</li><li>Work on mechanical assemblies and moving parts where required</li><li>Prepare designs for manufacturing and assist with production setup</li><li>Collaborate with designers, engineers, and manufacturing partners&nbsp;</li></ul>What we’re looking for<ul><li>Strong experience in mechanical product design</li><li>Proven track record of designing manufacturable products</li><li>Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar</li><li>Good understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC, thermoforming, sheet metal, composites)</li><li>Experience taking products from prototype to production</li><li>Practical, hands-on mindset with attention to real-world constraints&nbsp;</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Experience supporting or setting up small to mid-scale production</li><li>Exposure to overseas manufacturing</li><li>Hands-on prototyping or workshop experience&nbsp;</li></ul>Details<ul><li>Contract or long-term collaboration</li><li>Flexible involvement depending on project phase</li><li>Opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle&nbsp;</li></ul>To apply: Send a short intro and examples of physical products you’ve worked on (CAD, prototypes, or production experience).
