The Health &amp; Safety &amp; Environment&nbsp;Lead&nbsp;is responsible to drive the Health and Safety (H&amp;S) &amp; Environmental performance by advising managers at the site on the practical implementation and maintenance of country and group health safety and environmental Strategic Priorities and on compliance with in-country H&amp;S&amp;E regulatory requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;The HSE&nbsp;Lead&nbsp;will&nbsp;assure&nbsp;the effective implementation and maintenance of&nbsp;HSE&nbsp;management system and performance monitoring process at site level. Liaise with country and group H&amp;S&amp;E community and Property &amp; Loss Risk managers. Carry out routine analysis&nbsp;in order to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;trends and key areas for focused attention and remedial programs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Ensures implementation and maintenance of all required TCCC, CC Hellenic, Loss Prevention standards and legal HSE requirements </li><li>Develops and maintains HSE procedures and ensures that they are implemented,&nbsp;established&nbsp;and followed&nbsp; </li><li>Conducts and&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;H&amp;S and environmental risk assessments on routine basis and in case of any change on equipment, processes, products, materials </li><li>Drives in cooperation with all&nbsp;area&nbsp;responsible the achievement of HSE targets and projects at&nbsp;optimum&nbsp;cost and efficiency </li><li>Ensures that the HSE strategy is translated into site action plans&nbsp; </li><li>Timely and accurately reports site HSE performance to all stakeholders as per requirements and assures effective HSE performance management </li><li>Cooperates closely with the plant &amp; WH management teams and with the BU and plants HSE team.&nbsp;Cooperates with other departments as per needs </li><li>Conducts and coordinates HSE internal audits </li><li>Coordinates and delivers HSE training programs (TbTs, Refreshers, inductions, legal requirements, etc.) </li><li>Acts as a trusted partner and supports all departments in HSE issues in&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;root cause and development of corrective action plan, monitors trends in HSE performance and proposes preventive/ corrective actions </li><li>Seeks&nbsp;and proposes improvement opportunities&nbsp; </li><li>Drives the Behavior Based Safety in the plant </li><li>Proposes and monitors CAPEX and OPEX environmental projects implementation&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Essential Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>High education in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering from AEI&nbsp; </li><li>Certification from NEBOSH,&nbsp;All&nbsp;required H&amp;S trainings by Cyprus legislation&nbsp;completed </li><li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industry </li><li>SAP,&nbsp;Office&nbsp;and Windows literate </li><li>Excellent use of English language&nbsp;required&nbsp;- written and spoken </li><li>Ability to work on own initiative, with good planning and organizational skills and enthusiastic with the ability to drive and enforce standards and influence people&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Desirable Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>A post-graduate degree&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Previous&nbsp;experience in food industry&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>OUR DE&amp;I STATEMENT/COMMITMENT:Our goal is to create the right environment in which all our employees will feel that they belong to a big family and will have the opportunity to be inspired and develop continuously.
