Scope of duties:This position is responsible for the efficient and effective accounting function of our Group. The Accountant will be responsible for the development and improvement of the company’s accounting system, including chart of accounts and system reports.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Monitors and controls the Possible Disputes Notifications process (VAT Reporting &amp; VIES).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Payroll Software (handling and Preparation) as well as Social Insurance regulations as well as PAYE issues is a must.</li><li>Identifies and corrects any mistakes identified in the Accounting Processes.</li><li>Ensures adequate checks and controls are maintained to ensure quality and consistency of bookkeeping followed within accounting department.</li><li>Ensures that adequate documentary evidence is available in support of bookkeeping entries as well as for the purposes of audit by external auditors and in compliance with legal requirements.</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines</li><li>Team mentoring ability</li></ul>&nbsp;Benefits Competitive remuneration package will be offered according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;Location : Larnaca, Cyprus&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
