We have a well-diversified portfolio, including Accounting &amp; Tax, Fiduciary, Hotels &amp; Hospitality, Fintech, R&amp;D, Real Estate, Waste Management, and Charitable Organizations.&nbsp;The Payments Officer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing of payments, maintaining records, and handling payment-related queries. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions and compliance with relevant regulations.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Payment Processing:&nbsp;Execute and manage daily payment transactions, including domestic and international transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Reconciliation:&nbsp;Perform regular reconciliations of payment accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.</li><li>Compliance:&nbsp;Ensure all payment activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and anti-fraud measures.</li><li>Documentation:&nbsp;Maintain comprehensive records of all payment transactions and provide reports as required.</li><li>Issue Resolution:&nbsp;Investigate and resolve payment issues or discrepancies, liaising with banks and internal departments as necessary.</li><li>Process Improvement:&nbsp;Identify opportunities to improve payment processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors.</li><li>Customer Support:&nbsp;Handle payment-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders with a high level of professionalism and service in accordance with the Group standards.</li><li>Collaboration:&nbsp;Work closely with the finance team to support month-end and year-end financial close processes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar payments role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.</li><li>Experience with international payment systems and currency management is a plus.</li></ul></li><li>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Strong numerical skills.</li><li>Proficiency in using financial software and payment processing systems.</li><li>Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.</li></ul></li><li>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in both English and Greek languages.</li></ul></li></ul>&nbsp;Why Join Us?At Georgiou and Prasanna Group of Companies, we foster a supportive and dynamic work environment that emphasizes work-life balance and team spirit.
