We are looking to attract an enthusiastic and hardworking qualified Technology Lawyer with ambition to develop his/her career by joining our Tech Law Team in our Nicosia office, focusing on Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Technology Law.&nbsp;The candidate must be a qualified lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association.&nbsp;The role will be focused around:<ul><li>Advising clients on cybersecurity incidents, data and security breaches,</li><li>Assisting clients on how to achieve compliance with data protection and cybersecurity legislation,</li><li>Guiding clients on how to prepare for cybersecurity and/or GDPR audits,</li><li>Defending clients before the Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data,</li><li>Operational compliance such as policy drafting, data transfer management and incident management,</li><li>Advising, reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, such as purchase and joint development agreements, master services agreements on software and IP licensing matters, supplier component sourcing and vendor agreements, collaboration agreements and other commercial transactional agreements,</li><li>Provision of legal opinions on commercial matters,</li><li>Responding to legal requests from engineering, sourcing, business development, finance and other teams, summarising and communicating legal concepts in a clear and concise manner,</li><li>Guiding on the development of web applications and electronic tools,</li><li>Advising companies on day-to-day and strategic commercial transactions, including product liability, intellectual property rights, personal data protection, indemnification matters, as well as key company policies and procedures.</li></ul>&nbsp;The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong legal knowledge along with excellent client management skills.
