CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of cloud-based accounting, compliance, and advisory solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an AML &amp; Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an AML &amp; Compliance Officer, you will join an established Compliance Team, and will play a key role contributing to the effective delivery of services to a diverse client portfolio. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who ideally possess 1+ of relevant experience in Compliance, AML, KYC or similar. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and possess excellent organisational and time management skills. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Performing client acceptance, reacceptance, and risk assessment procedures.</li><li>Collecting and reviewing KYC documentation to ensure accurate and complete client profiles.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of AML data and supporting documentation for all clients.</li><li>Conducting AML and other regulatory compliance procedures in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Understanding and documenting clients’ business activities and economic profiles.</li><li>Identifying potential compliance risks and proposing appropriate mitigation measures.</li><li>Assisting with independence and conflict-of-interest assessments where required.</li><li>Supporting the team with additional compliance-related tasks, as necessary.</li><li>Assist with administrative tasks, including the filing and organization of KYC documentation.</li><li>Support other departments by requesting, collecting, and coordinating required compliance-related information.</li><li>Provide support to the Firm’s MLRO and Deputy MLRO, as required.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Hold a university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline).</li><li>1–2 years of relevant experience in Compliance, AML/KYC or a related field will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.</li><li>Proficiency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.</li><li>Motivation and ambition to build and develop a career in Compliance.</li><li>A genuine interest in the business environment and regulatory landscape.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Benefits:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Very competitive remuneration package.</li><li>Progression based on merit.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li><li>Up to 3 paid social days per year to allow you to contribute to social and environmental causes that are important to you.</li><li>Friday afternoons off.</li><li>Fridays off throughout August.</li><li>Holiday entitlement from first day of joining the firm.&nbsp;</li><li>Paid maternity and paternity leave.</li><li>Mothers support scheme.</li><li>International secondment scheme.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG9004.
