Job OverviewWe are hiring for an Accounting Assistant to support Accounts Receivable and Credit Control tasks, customer onboarding, Accounts Payable administration, including payables and the overhead expenses of the company.&nbsp;Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitoring the Credit Control approval process for customer orders.</li><li>Following-up customer on-boarding process and creation of new customer cards in the ERP system.</li><li>Monitoring accounts receivable and following up with the Account Managers and customers on outstanding balances according to the agreed payment terms and due dates of the invoices.</li><li>Reporting to the Management and the Group Head Office for the company’s receivables.</li><li>Maintaining payables ledger, including preparation of online banking payments for approval.</li><li>Posting of all customer receipts and payments to suppliers etc in the EPR system.</li><li>Performing month-end banks and vendors reconciliations.</li><li>Posting of all suppliers’ invoices relating to overhead expenses.</li><li>Maintaining the database of open bank guarantees, including filing and following-up on expiring guarantees.</li><li>Preparing ad-hoc reports requested by management.</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>2-3 years’ experience in an Accounts Department.</li><li>Effective communication, both written and verbal.</li><li>Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, demonstrate logical and critical thinking with problem solving abilities.</li><li>Demonstrate honesty, ethics, and professionalism.</li><li>Embrace and adapt to changes in processes and procedures in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>Reports toChief Accountant, Logicom Solutions&nbsp;RemunerationAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;Equal Employment OpportunityLogicom is committed to provide equal employment opportunities for all regardless of their race, colour, sex/gender, religion, age, marital status, cultural background, disability, nationality and political opinion.
