G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group is seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join its Head Offices in Nicosia.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and professional environment within a well-established organization.&nbsp;Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Track and record all incoming and outgoing financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments</li><li>Keep the general ledger up-to-date by recording transactions in various accounts (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and expenses)</li><li>Monitor and process payments to vendors and suppliers</li><li>Ensure invoices are sent out on time and payments are received</li><li>Reconcile bank statements with the company's records to ensure accuracy</li><li>Maintain a record of petty cash used for small expenses</li><li>Assist with VAT-related matters and statutory reporting requirements</li><li>Support the preparation of tax and regulatory submissions, including VIES where applicable</li></ul>Additional Expectations:<ul><li>Operate effectively within a multi-company Group structure, understanding intercompany transactions and reporting requirements</li><li>Work efficiently under pressure, particularly during month-end and year-end closings, to meet strict Group reporting deadlines</li><li>Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in managing financial data across entities</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or LCCI Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Cycom) will be considered an advantage</li><li>Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive Remuneration Package</li><li>13th&nbsp;Salary&nbsp;</li><li>Flexible Working Hours</li><li>Half Day Off</li><li>Provident Fund after the 6 months’ Probation Period</li><li>Participate in the Loyalty Discount Scheme Program</li><li>Opportunity to participate in the ACCA program</li><li>Professional development and career growth opportunities</li></ul>How to Apply: Interested applicants should forward their CV’s at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:careers@gapgroup.com">careers@gapgroup.com&nbsp;</a>quoting the reference number:&nbsp;GAP-BK-26.&nbsp;All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
