The Nicosia office opened in 1998; we currently have over 320 dynamic employees – and are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions.&nbsp;Role in Brief&nbsp;&nbsp;Work with the IT development team to design and develop our internal and client-facing&nbsp;APIs&nbsp;in the rapidly changing environment of alternative.&nbsp;&nbsp;Insights to the Role&nbsp;<ul><li>Development and support of APIs and plugins (Add-ins)</li><li>Support User Authentication framework (SSO/ 2FA)</li><li>Designing and developing software in cooperation with business users</li><li>Apply advanced software engineering techniques to support CI and weekly releases</li><li>Observing a test-driven development process</li><li>Accurately estimating required development time</li><li>Refactoring existing code to improve security, maintainability, efficiency,&nbsp;resilience&nbsp;and the user experience</li><li>Pro-actively&nbsp;seek&nbsp;to improve efficiencies, user experience,&nbsp;maintainability&nbsp;and resilience</li><li>Stay abreast of new technological and design developments</li></ul>Who You Are&nbsp;<ul><li>A degree in Computer Science or a science degree with programming experience or equivalent practical experience</li><li>At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Good knowledge of Java&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with implementing APIs,&nbsp;Spring&nbsp;Framework,&nbsp;Angular&nbsp;or Microsoft Office Add-ins&nbsp;will&nbsp;be considered a&nbsp;strong&nbsp;advantage</li><li>Knowledge of&nbsp;Oauth, Azure, Okta, Ping, etc.&nbsp;will be considered an&nbsp;advantage</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Strong ability to multi-task and set priorities</li><li>Working in teams with other developers, business analysts, business users in an international environment</li><li>Work outside of normal business hours&nbsp;might be required&nbsp;in case of&nbsp;urgent bug fixes</li><li>Abide by the Communication Group policies and procedures as well as the Albourne Group’s policies and procedures, including but not limited to compliance reporting, HFDB filing, Information, Communications &amp; Cyber Security Policy, Expense &amp; Travel Policy, etc.</li><li>Comply with&nbsp;terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals</li><li>Attend company events upon request</li><li>Occasional travel might be requested&nbsp;</li></ul>​ What We Offer<ul><li>Support for professional qualifications (such as CFA and CAIA)</li><li>Career growth and tools for ongoing learning and development</li><li>Medical insurance for you and your dependents</li><li>Provident fund</li><li>Yearly bonus dependent upon performance and company growth</li><li>Opportunity for international travel (i.e., short periods of secondment to other Albourne offices)</li><li>5 additional service recognition holidays in surplus to standard annual leave</li><li>Albourne Training Days (minimum of 40 hours per year)</li><li>Free office parking</li></ul> What You’ll Enjoy<ul><li>A supportive, multi-cultural work environment</li><li>​Freedom to work independently, problem-solve and come up with creative solutions to complete tasks within required deadlines</li><li>​Explore different roles within Albourne after you master your current role.
