Its diversified presence covers the areas of property development, construction, hotels, property management, travel, insurance brokerage, healthcare and education.Leptos Estates, leading Property Developers, is seeking to recruit for its head office in Paphos, an experienced:Quantity Surveyor&nbsp;Scope and general purpose of the jobWorking with contractors, builders, architects and other professionals to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and analyse costing for tenders</li><li>Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities</li><li>Value completed work and arrange payments to contractor/subcontractors</li><li>Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes</li><li>Advise on a procurement strategy</li><li>Perform risk, value management and cost control</li><li>Monitor and control costs throughout the project</li><li>Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation</li><li>Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections</li><li>Reconciliation of accounts and cost control</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering</li><li>At least 5 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience or related field</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</li><li>Sound knowledge of construction</li><li>Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to organize, plan and strategize</li></ul>Salary and benefits<ul><li>Remuneration package is being offered based on qualifications and experience</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>Excellent prospects for advancement</li><li>Professional and personal development</li></ul>Apply with CV and include job title and Reference E001Email: <a href="mailto:vacancies@leptosestates.com">vacancies@leptosestates.com</a> All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence&nbsp;
