Job OverviewWe are hiring a highly motivated, passionate and skilled Senior Data Engineer who will play a key role in shaping the Team’s foundation, service offering, and technical direction.&nbsp;This role involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and supporting the development of advanced analytics capabilities.&nbsp;The successful candidate will join the company’s Business Solutions and Services Division and will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects across multiple industries as well as closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine our data offerings and drive innovation across client projects.&nbsp;Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Identifying customers’ needs, developing related offerings and delivering projects.</li><li>Working with clients to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.</li><li>Contributing to the design and architecture of the data solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with existing data systems.</li><li>Developing, optimizing, and maintaining ETL processes to ensure smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into various sources.</li><li>Assisting in designing efficient data models that support reporting, analytics, and other business functions.</li><li>Implementing data validation, quality checks, and ensuring consistency across datasets.</li><li>Creating and maintaining clear documentation for processes, architecture, and data definitions.</li><li>Adhering to best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.</li><li>Strong experience with SQL (e.g., complex queries, performance tuning).</li><li>Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Airflow, Apache NiFi, SSIS, Talend, etc.).</li><li>Solid knowledge of data migration concepts.</li><li>Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.</li><li>Strong experience with the implementation of large-scale data pipelines.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools.</li><li>Experience with Cloud platforms and SaaS tools for data ingestion, pipeline development and orchestration, data modelling and processing such as, Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.</li><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders/ clients.</li><li>Strong Team player with experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Knowledge of data governance practices, Forex industry and/ or data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.</li></ul>RemunerationAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;Equal Employment OpportunityLogicom is committed to provide equal employment opportunities for all regardless of their race, color, sex/gender, religion, age, marital status, cultural background, disability, nationality and political opinion.
