Further to our qualifications and experience-based competitive salary package, the school’s inclusive, forward-thinking community ensures that every teacher has a voice and a role in the school’s development.&nbsp;If you're an educator who values collaboration, continuous growth, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life, Lighthouse is the place for you.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging learning activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.</li><li>Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and provide additional support where needed.</li><li>Assist in preparing classroom material, content, resources, and learning spaces for lessons and activities.</li><li>Help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming classroom environment.</li><li>Support students in developing independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.</li><li>Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play as required.</li><li>Assist with basic observation and feedback to help teachers monitor student progress and well-being.</li><li>Provide support to students who may require additional guidance, including EAL learners or students needing differentiated support.</li><li>Contribute positively to the classroom community and the wider school activities.</li><li>Follow school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding and student supervision.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is preferred.</li><li>A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable.</li><li>Previous experience as a teaching assistant or learning support assistant.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.</li><li>A caring, patient, and supportive approach when working with children.</li><li>Ability to follow guidance from the classroom teacher and contribute positively to the classroom environment.</li><li>Excellent fluency in English, both written and spoken language&nbsp; - native fluency will be considered a plus. </li><li>A BA in Primary Education or other related fields will be considered a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul>Dare to teach differently?
