Job Description

We are looking for a talented Lighting Designer to contribute to innovative and high-quality lighting solutions across a diverse range of projects. This role blends creative vision with technical precision, playing a key part in shaping lighting concepts that enhance architectural spaces and user experience.

 

As a member of the design team, the Lighting Designer is actively involved in concept development, lighting studies, visualization, client presentations, and project coordination, contributing to the successful delivery of lighting projects from concept to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL BE OWNING

• Lead the full lighting design process, from concept development to project delivery
• Create detailed lighting studies, 3D visualizations and specifications for architectural and interior projects
• Select lighting solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency
• Present design concepts to clients, ensuring their vision is realized
• Work closely with architects, interior designers and project teams to align lighting design with overall project goals
• Serve as a trusted advisor on lighting solutions and technical guidance
• Support clients with design recommendations and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay updated on the latest lighting trends, products and technologies
• Conduct market research to identify new solutions and opportunities for design innovation
• Experiment with creative lighting techniques to enhance architectural spaces
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure proper installation and performance of lighting designs
• Lead and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to resolve design challenges

 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Lighting Designer or Project Manager in the lighting industry
• Strong knowledge of lighting calculation software (AGi32, DIALux, RELUX, or similar)
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D) and 3D visualization software
• Solid understanding of construction, architecture, and project detailing
• Fluent in Greek and English (written & spoken)
