Job Description

A. Hadjipieris Ltd, a leading dairy manufacturing company and member of the Omiros Dairies Group, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join its Finance Department.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of accounting transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
• Perform bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist with monthly accounting close procedures
• Prepare and process accounting entries and journals
• Support VAT, VIES and other statutory reporting requirements
• Communicate with suppliers, customers and external stakeholders as required
• Support internal and external audit activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Cyprus VAT requirements will be considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
