Tylichto is growing, and we are looking for a Gyros & Pita Specialist / Cashier to join our team in Limassol Agora!

The main part of your role will be working at the Gyros & Pita Station, preparing our gyros, pitas, souvlaki and other menu items according to Tylichto's quality standards.

During certain assigned hours each week, you will also assist at the cashier and customer-service area. This means the role combines kitchen responsibilities with front-of-house duties and requires someone who is flexible and comfortable working in both areas.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organised, friendly and willing to take on different responsibilities as part of a team.

YOUR ROLE

🌯 GYROS & PITA STATION

As a Gyros & Pita Specialist, you will:

• Prepare and cook gyros, souvlaki and other meat products.
• Prepare and assemble pitas, wraps and portions according to Tylichto standards.
• Operate the grill and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure meat is cooked correctly and served according to our quality standards.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and food preparation procedures.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain sufficient stock during service.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and speed.
• Keep the grill and preparation area clean and organised.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Follow all food hygiene and food-safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Assist with general kitchen duties when required.

💳 CASHIER & CUSTOMER SERVICE

During assigned hours each week, you will also:

• Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use the POS system and process cash and card payments.
• Answer customer questions and provide helpful service.
• Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
• Handle takeaway and dine-in orders.
• Assist the front-of-house team during busy periods.
• Keep the cashier and customer-service area clean, organised and presentable.
• Help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our customers.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You don't necessarily need years of experience.

What matters most to us is your attitude, reliability, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in both a kitchen and customer-service environment.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.

• Flexible and willing to perform different duties when required.
• Willing to learn and improve.
• Careful about food quality, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Comfortable handling payments and using a POS system.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.

Previous experience in a gyros, grill, souvlaki, restaurant, kitchen or cashier position is an advantage, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Knowledge of Greek and/or English is an advantage.
