An opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team in Nicosia.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
- Maintaining proper accounting records
- Verifying and recording invoices from suppliers
- Ensuring that invoices to customers are issued complete and in a timely manner
- Recording and checking company bank statements
- Conducting regular bank reconciliations
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
- Assisting team members, managers and financial controllers regarding ad-hoc requests and preparation of management reports
- General administrative work in relation to the position
Requirements
- LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting and/or relevant Bachelor degree
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Good analytical skills and dealing with numbers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets/deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Energetic and positive team player with strong organizational skills
- Microsoft Office package proficiency
- Proficiency in Greek and English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 & E-soft accounting software will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of local VAT, Tax and Social Insurance legislations will be considered an advantage
