Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the company’s Finance and Accounting functions.
• Review and guide a team of accountants to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with local regulations and standards.
• Managing the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Monitoring cash flow, financial performance, and profitability and provide strategic recommendations to the management.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Reviewing tax returns, VAT filings and other statutory reports on time.
• Assisting with external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and resolving any issues that arise.
• Maintain relations and cooperate with external associates such as auditors, banks, etc.

How to Apply

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting and finance 

Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA) 

Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Accounting Software, 

Experience with the Cyprus Tax and VAT Legislation. 

Min 5 years of accounting and/or auditing experience (experience in Construction and Real Estate industry will be considered as strong advantage) 

Excellent knowledge of English Strong organizational skills

Be highly motivated and able to meet deadlines 

Ability to work independently and in team
