ACCA Trainee Auditors – Larnaca

GAC Auditors Ltd is a reputable and dynamic audit and advisory firm based in Larnaca, providing high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. Due to expansion of our audit and tax department we are seeking to recruit 4 new ACCA Trainee Auditors to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements for both international and local clients
• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs
• Undertake assigned audit sections and support senior team members in delivering high-quality work
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers that document findings and conclusions
• Assist in the preparation of draft financial statements
• Prepare tax computations and tax returns
• Communicate professionally with clients and contribute to building strong working relationships
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role

Requirements

• University degree with a classification of 2:1 or above, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in audit and/or accounting will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal; additional languages will be considered an advantage
• Professional demeaner with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good computer literacy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Strong team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines when required
