Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities: 

• Preparation of accounting records for international and local clients
• Correspondence and communication with the clients
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations for banks, creditors and debtors
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reporting
• Preparation and submission of Employer’s Return (TD 7)
• Preparation and submission of Personal Income Tax Return (TD 1)
• End to end processing of payroll functions for clients
• Payment on behalf of the clients the Social Insurance Contributions and other Taxes through the online process.
• Registration of clients to the Tax, VAT and Social Insurance Departments
• Documentation and filling of accounting transactions in an organized manner
• Liaison with the audit department

 

Candidate profile:

• Accounting experience in an accounting/audit firm will be considered as an advantage
• Academic background in accounting would be considered as an advantage
• Attention to detail to detail and strong numerical skills
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (both verbal and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)
• Knowledge of BTMS and caseware software would be considered as an advantage
• Professionalism ability to work with a team and, when necessary, to work under strict reporting deadlines
• Pleasant personality
