Position Summary

DURAGREEN is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and reliable In-House Accountant to join its team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting operations and for handling all matters directly or indirectly related to the accounting function of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the company's accounting records and financial documentation
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings in a timely manner
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Handle any other matters directly or indirectly related to the accounting function of the company

Qualifications & Skills

- A recognised accounting qualification is required; a university degree is not a prerequisite
- A minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Fluency in Greek and English
