THP Panayiotides Ltd is a professional services firm providing Audit, Accounting, Tax, Advisory and Business Consulting services to local and international clients. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Accountant for our Accounting Department in Nicosia.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting function for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting and tax requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance matters.
• Support the preparation of financial statements.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary accounting information.
• Assist with payroll processing where required.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

 

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Partly qualified ACCA or in progress (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Experience with accounting software will be considered an advantage (Intelisoft and ODOO).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good command of the English language.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 (flexible starting time between 07:00 and 09:00)
Friday: 08:00 – 13:30
