• Compensation: €1,700-€2,100 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications

• Employees who are not based in Limassol are entitled to one remote working day per week. Those based in Limassol may work remotely up to two days per month

Responsibilities

• Handling matters relating to crew travelling accounts, manual payroll, home allotments, crew debit/credit notes, final wages and checking of slopchest and cash account
• Maintaining the Crew Accounts System with crew related elements
• Preparing vessel’s monthly Wages Summary Information
• Handling monthly overtime analysis and leave due
• Communicating with Crewing agents
• Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;
• Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System
• Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures
• Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement
• Undertaking special tasks and projects that might be assigned by the Accounts & Administration Manager

The Accountant Crew Wages reports and is accountable to the Manager Crew Accounts.

Requirements

• Secondary school certificate with LCC Higher certificate in Accountancy
• Experience of at least 6 (six) months or University degree in Accountancy or holder of the IAT professional qualification
• Good communication skills as well the ability to work within a team;
• Very good command of the English language.
