Job Description

3CX, a leading global telecommunications Company has an opportunity for an Accountant to support our finance team within a technology focused environment. This full-time position will support the Financial Controller and accounting team by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely VAT returns submissions, bank management and smooth execution of day-to-day financial transactions in a multi-currency environment. 

 

The role is hands-on and ideal for a finance professional who is a dedicated team player and thrives on operational excellence and accuracy. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day bookkeeping within Sage / Odoo, ensuring all transactions are categorized correctly and the General Ledger is maintained with organised digital filing.
• Utilise accounting system’s automation tools to perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts / credit cards and relevant balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in collaboration with the financial controller, ensuring all system data is fully reconciled and accurate. 
• Handle Accounts Receivable and Payable. Monitor payment allocations and proactively resolve any discrepancies in customer or vendor accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of payroll data and ensure compliance with local social insurance and tax requirements (experience in this area will be considered an advantage).

Essential Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping / accounting roles.
• A high level of comfort with modern ERP systems and digital workflows. 
• Solid understanding of basic accounting / bookkeeping principles and VAT requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail, methodical approach and flexibility to support the team as needed. 
• Accounting related qualification (eg LCCI higher or equivalent) will be considered an advantage
