Accounting & Finance Officer (Fixed-Term Contract)
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Officer to join our Finance team in Nicosia, on a one-year fixed-term contract to support temporary departmental needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early career finance professional to gain hands on experience within a dynamic and regulated insurance environment.
The successful candidate will support the Finance team by assisting with accounting analyses, financial reconciliations, reporting activities and audit processes, while contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
Key responsibilities
Prepare accounting calculations, reconciliations and financial analyses.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist in quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Prepare supporting documentation for regulatory and statutory reporting.
Review accounting data for completeness and accuracy.
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit will be considered an advantage, but is not required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of accounting principles.
Experience supporting audit processes will be considered an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with accounting systems will be considered an advantage.
Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Monthly gross salary ranging from €1.300 to €2.000 depending on experience and qualifications.
