On behalf of our client, a well-established accounting and professional services firm based in Larnaca, Dart Recruitment is seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to take ownership of a portfolio of clients while supporting and mentoring a team in a dynamic and professional working environment.

Role Overview

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting function for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Cyprus legislation. You will be responsible for reviewing financial information, supervising team members, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of local and international clients
• Review bookkeeping records and ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior members of the accounting team
• Review VAT returns and ensure timely statutory submissions
• Liaise with clients, auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Cyprus tax regulations, and accounting standards
• Monitor deadlines and ensure work is completed accurately and on time
• Provide accounting guidance and support to clients
• Report directly to senior management on client matters and departmental performance

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACCA / ACA qualified or partly qualified will be considered an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, with previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting standards, VAT, and tax legislation
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accounting or professional services firm
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Professional, proactive, and client-oriented approach
