Admissions Officer
Job Description
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting in the student admissions process, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience throughout the students’ journey with the school.
Working closely with school leadership, administrative staff, students, and parents, the Admissions Officer will contribute to the continued growth and success of the school by delivering an efficient, responsive, and customer-focused admissions service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from prospective parents and students.
Conduct school tours and provide accurate information about the school's programmes, facilities, and admissions procedures.
Process applications, maintain admissions records, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurately filed.
Liaise with academic and administrative staff regarding student applications and enrolment decisions.
Support the organisation of open days, promotional events, and other admissions-related activities.
Assist with student registration and induction processes for new families.
Prepare admissions reports and statistical data as required by school leadership.
Build positive relationships with prospective and current families, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Previous experience in admissions, administration, customer service, or a related role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Professional, approachable, and service-oriented manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact confidently with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Desirable
Previous experience working in an educational or international school environment.
Knowledge of admissions procedures and student information systems.
Experience organising events and managing communications with prospective families.
Additional language skills.
Understanding of international education programmes and curricula.
