About the Role:
KANIKA is seeking a motivated and talented Architect to join our team in Limassol. This is an exciting opportunity for an architect with professional experience to contribute to a diverse portfolio of hospitality and commercial developments across Cyprus while further enhancing their technical and design skills.
The successful candidate will support the development of architectural projects by assisting with design preparation, technical documentation, planning submissions, and project coordination. Working closely with senior architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, the Architect will contribute to the successful delivery of projects from design development through construction stages.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design, good technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively while taking responsibility for assigned tasks and supporting the overall project delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and development of architectural designs, planning applications, and construction documentation.
- Develop architectural and interior design solutions in line with company standards and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal project teams throughout the design and construction process.
- Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and design coordination discussions.
- Assist in reviewing project progress and resolving design-related issues.
- Prepare specifications for architectural materials and finishes in collaboration with the Sourcing and Purchasing Department.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of professional architectural experience in design development and project delivery.
- Membership of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) or eligibility for registration will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Rhino or other 3D modelling software will be considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of Cyprus planning legislation, building regulations, and construction practices.
- Strong design, technical detailing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
