CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax-related services to both local and international companies, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an Assistant Auditor, you will assist with the planning and execution of engagements for both local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA), who possess 1+ year of proven experience in the audit and/or professional services field. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Prepare audit working papers and perform substantive and compliance testing.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and ISA compliance.
• Perform analytical procedures and identify potential audit issues.
• Collaborate with managers to deliver high quality work within deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Candidates working towards the ACCA Qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in audit or professional services.
• Familiarity with CaseWare Working Papers (or willingness to learn).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
