Associate Lawyer
As part of its drive to further enrich and expand its litigation department and build on its strong track record acting for high-profile local and international clients in complex corporate & commercial disputes, the Nicosia Office of SCORDIS, PAPAPETROU & CO LLC is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated Associate Lawyer to join its Litigation team.

The Law Firm has a history of over 100 years, nearly two centuries, in the aggregate, of practice and expertise, and its team comprises over 30 advocates and legal consultants, 15 inhouse qualified professionals of related disciplines and 50 paralegal, administrative and other personnel with Offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Athens and the UAE.
The Role
· Acting for clients in pending and new cases before the District Courts, the Administrative Court and the Courts of Special Jurisdiction.
· Providing advice to clients, under the supervision of a Partner, with regard to all aspects of litigation and arbitration.
· Participating in the conduct of complex commercial and corporate litigation and multijurisdictional disputes.
· Playing an active role in the litigation department’s drive to further broaden its practice.
· Assisting with the training of trainees and junior lawyers.
What We Are Looking For
· Law degree (holding any further academic or vocational qualification in Law/Legal Practice will be considered an advantage).
· Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
· At least five (5) years of experience in civil litigation and/or in the conduct of cases before the Administrative Court and/or the Competition Authority of Cyprus and/or the Employment Disputes Tribunal.
· Qualifications and experience in Competition Law and/or Employment Law and/or Administrative Law will be considered an advantage.
· Excellent command of Greek and English language both verbal and written
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
