Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Lead, coach, and develop audit teams to maintain a consistently high standard of work.
- Review audit working papers, financial statements, and reports.
- Review or prepare financial statements under IFRS.
- Review or prepare clients’ tax returns and tax computations.
- Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the applicable financial reporting standards.
- Manage client relationships and provide professional advice on audit and accounting matters.
- Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability.
- Assist with business development and contribute to the growth of the firm.
- Report to the Managing Director.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in external audit, including managing audit engagements.
- Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and IFRS.
- Excellent knowledge of Caseware and e-audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
