We are looking  to hire a Budget & Expenses Junior Controller

 

Job specification

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

• 1-2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis or accounting

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables etc.)

• Knowledge of key accounting principles, practices and procedures

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent command of the English language (both written and oral)
• Be an EU citizen or have a Work Permit

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting, analysing and interpreting financial data

• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance

• Controls and approves all client recharge invoices

• Prepares the vessel statements either on a cruise-by-cruise level or on monthly basis

• Prepare the monthly financial reports to the management and operational teams

• Gathers financial information from the vessel, checks them and uploads them to the accounting system

• Performs monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliations

• Credit management
