A rapidly growing international group of companies, operating across Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, and other European markets, is expanding its presence in Cyprus and is seeking an experienced and strategically minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and ensure the accuracy and transparency of accounting processes for Cyprus-based entities.
Coordinate accounting and financial reporting across the companies.
Prepare and present financial statements and key performance indicators to senior management.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights to support decision-making.
Develop and implement internal control systems and ensure effective risk management.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Evaluate investment projects and their financial feasibility.
Represent the company in dealings with financial institutions, auditors, and external partners.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements.
Drive process improvements and optimization of financial systems.
Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in the finance/accounting field, including at least 2 years in a managerial position (CFO / Chief Accountant or similar), with full responsibility for financial and accounting management and reporting.
Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to work with complex financial data and deliver results under strict deadlines.
Strategic mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
High level of responsibility, independence, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Experience in an international business environment is a strong advantage.
Excellent knowledge of Greek and good command of English (written and spoken).
