Job Description

Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client, a well-established Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join its growing team in Limassol. 

 

The role is open to both experienced professionals and high-potential junior candidates who meet the mandatory certification requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with CySEC regulations, AML directives, and applicable European regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, AMLD).
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to management and staff on compliance-related matters.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, internal audits, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and submit reports to CySEC and other regulatory authorities.
• Oversee AML compliance, including client due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and transaction monitoring.
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and implement necessary changes.
• Deliver internal training on compliance and AML topics.

 

Requirements:

• Mandatory: CySEC Advanced Certificate / AML Certification.
• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in a compliance role within a CIF or financial services environment will be considered an advantage (junior candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of CySEC regulations and AML framework.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
