Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the largest construction companies in Cyprus, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager.

 

Τhe Company is licensed as an A – Class Contractor, allowing to handle projects of any size and complexity. Due to its size and structure, the Company can operate with flexibly to match the needs of its clients. It has been in the market for over 60 years and has built a reputation for quality, efficiency and reliability.

 

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the team of the Company and take an active role in the design, coordination and technical support of the architectural projects. The role requires a strong technical background, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and a practical understanding of the transition from design to construction

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee the execution of large construction projects, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Coordinate project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to maintain effective project control.

Monitor progress, key milestones and critical risks, taking timely action to resolve issues and support project performance.

Review drawings, technical submissions, procurement needs and construction sequencing to ensure smooth implementation.

Support commercial and contractual matters, including variations, claims, progress reviews and management reporting.

Provide leadership to project teams, drive accountability and promote a high-performance site culture.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across complex construction projects.

Commercially aware, technically competent and confident in decision-making in demanding project environments.

Able to communicate effectively with senior management, consultants, subcontractors and clients.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

8+ years of relevant experience in construction management, including significant exposure to large-scale projects.

Strong understanding of project planning, site operations, contract administration and stakeholder coordination.

Strong reporting and organisational skills; experience managing major building developments will be considered a strong advantage.
