Position: Corporate Communications & Media Relations Lead | Brand, Marketing & Eminence

 

Our Brand, Marketing & Eminence team is looking to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional to join us as a Corporate Communications & Media Relations Lead, at the level of Assistant Manager, based at our Nicosia Office.

Deloitte’s BME team is responsible for strategic marketing planning, ensuring that all communication and marketing activities are in line with Deloitte’s strategic growth and development objectives. The team acts as an internal communications agency, planning and directly overseeing all marketing and communication campaigns relating to firm branding, public relations, advertising, corporate event management, key sponsorship and strategic partnership initiatives, amongst other. The team also manages and executes the firm’s digital strategy across web, email, intranet and social media channels.

 

The Role

We are looking for a versatile professional, who can blend traditional public relations strategies, media relations and corporate affairs, whilst overseeing omnichannel campaigns to align and enhance our print and digital footprint.

From drafting corporate communications and press releases to managing media relations, you will ensure our brand voice is consistent, solid, and engaging across all our channels. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the communications stream and coordinating implementation, for both corporate and employer brand.
  • Staying updated of local and global market developments, cooperating closely with the Head of BME and the firm’s management team to propose relevant campaigns.
  • Proposing and driving campaigns for local and global eminence, as well as industry/product/services matters across platforms (pre-to-post publication), both in print and digital media.
  • Copywriting, editing and translating press releases, for dissemination to the appropriate audiences.
  • Preparing and distributing compelling thought leadership pieces, externa newsletters, annual reports and similar publications.
  • Evaluating, proposing and managing local media buys whilst cultivating and managing relationships with key journalists, editors, and publishers to secure high-impact local and regional press coverage.
  • Collaborating with leadership to develop clear, inspiring internal messaging, including aligning with crisis communication protocols.
  • Cultivating the relationship with the Global and Deloitte Middle East Communications Team.
  • Acting as a ‘Brand Guardian’ ensuring all external and internal communications strictly adhere to the firm’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Reviewing and approving the concept and content of corporate advertising to maintain quality control.
  • Consulting, informing, training and overseeing the application of brand guidelines and Deloitte’s tone of voice by colleagues.
  • Basic working knowledge of digital channels to oversee the corporate website's content, evaluate and propose value-adding campaigns, and ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitoring and reporting on impact and engagement metrics to refine communication strategies and propose value-adding actions to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Media Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism, or related fields. Postgraduate degree and/or relevant qualifications will be considered an advantage
  • 4-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or related fields
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with full verbal and written command of Greek and English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with C-suite and an array of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity combined with critical thinking to generate innovative ideas, , in consideration of market trends and business needs
  • A confident, positive attitude, with the ability to work highly effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent computer literacy
