Course Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is a leading research university ranked in the Top 501-600 in the 2026 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical and Veterinary Schools, seeks a full-time Course Administrator based in Nicosia to join its Team on a fixed-term contract, for a time period of 6 months as a maternity cover.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Schedule lectures, tutorials and practicals in coordination with teaching staff.

·         Offer administrative support to committees and working groups: plan, hold, take minutes and follow-up on action points.

·         Develop and maintain student handbooks and other student information.

·         Manage and produce detailed allocations for all student clinical placements under the advisement of the clinical placement leads and other clinical tutors.

Requirements:

·         Proven work experience in administrative or similar roles of at least 3 years, preferably within an educational setting.

·         Bachelor’s Degree – Postgraduate studies will be an advantage.

·         Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

·         Solid knowledge of office procedures.

·         Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.

·         Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

·         Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a diverse team of professionals.

·         Attention to detail.

The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.
