At Hermes Airports, the airport operator of Larnaka and Pafos airports, we are looking to recruit a passionate, dedicated and eager to learn, Electrical Engineer at our offices at Pafos airport. The successful candidate will be required to provide support and cover both Larnaka and Pafos Airports.

Short description:

The Electrical Engineer reports to the Head of Technical Department. The main area of responsibility is the safe, cost effective and reliable maintenance and upgrades of the airports infrastructure and equipment in line with the preventive maintenance plan and the Company’s policies, plans and procedures.

Other areas of responsibility include:

• maintenance contract management
• preventive, reactive and major maintenance planning
• project management, from inception to completion and handover to end user
• optimization of maintenance and repair costs and processes
• follow up and control of service provider Key Performance Indicators
• Monitoring of on energy consumption and energy management
• participation in various tasks including electrical design, collaboration with other engineering disciplines,  construction of new facilities at both airports,  renovations, improvements, and upgrades
• Reporting of progress and performance on both maintenance and project activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Member of ETEK
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Excellent knowledge on AutoCAD 2D
• Very good of knowledge of MS Office with particular reference in advance use of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge on energy management
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, technical report writing, and MS Project will be considered an advantage
