Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa Limassol, the only internationally branded five-star resort in Cyprus, proud member of Marriott International, is offering a career opportunity to a professional for the position of Electrician.

                                          
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

To operate, control and monitor and record overall Electrical equipment such as Min incoming distribution board, LVMDB individual floor DB, including in Fire pumps room, Cold water distribution, Sump-pit sewerage pumps, and overall hotel property area which related to electrical equipment and others essential hotel equipment, and to make sure that overall equipment related to electrical wise are in greatest condition.

                                       
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. 
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, etc.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Ensure panel and electrical distribution and power backup system are working properly.
• Closely monitor and recording the electrical utilities consumption in daily base and submitted to the Engineering coordinator to record.
• Follow the routine Preventive maintenance task activity and recorded accordingly.
• Daily check and recorded for all electrical consumption in both hotel area and commercial area.
• Assist the Engineering coordinator in daily inventory activity, especially in electrical equipment.
• Take care of any guest/ staff requests and complete them within the appropriate time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor`s in Electrical Engineering or related studies
• 5+ years’ experience in the same position or similar role in hotel industry
• Good Knowledge of English Language
• Strong knowledge of hotel electrical services.
• Committed to deliver high customer service.
• Communication Skill
