We are seeking a Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our Implementation Team, supporting the deployment of our industry-leading cost estimating platform, CostOS, across global projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients in configuring and structuring their cost estimation frameworks within the CostOS platform, ensuring alignment with their WBS, CBS, and reporting requirements.
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of software implementation projects, including:
– Business analysis and estimating requirements gathering
– Functional specification, estimate template configuration, and cost database setup
– Testing, user acceptance, training delivery, and post-go-live support
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and external stakeholders — including project directors and commercial managers — to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously across various implementation stages.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term commercial engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, each at various stages of development.
- Travel internationally as required to deliver on-site implementation, estimating workshops, and user training.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in Cost Estimating and/or Quantity Surveying within construction, EPC, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or mining sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in quantity take-off methods, unit rate analysis, and cost breakdown structure (CBS) development
- Strong understanding of estimating standards, project phases, and cost control practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present findings to senior-level stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (cost models, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project needs
- Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates, where applicable)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience with cost estimating software such as CostOS, Candy, Cleopatra, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with BIM technologies (e.g. Revit, Navisworks) and their integration with quantity take-off and cost estimation workflows
- Knowledge of SQL and Python, while not required, is highly desirable and will strengthen a candidate's application
- Professional accreditation or membership with a recognized body (e.g. RICS, AACE, CIOB, or equivalent)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior commercial or project management s takeholders
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMBoK, Agile) and their interaction with the estimating lifecycle
- Exposure to multi-discipline EPC or EPCM project environments
