Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Process accounting transactions, including supplier invoices, payments, bank transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare and issue customer sales invoices and ensure they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare month-end accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and intercompany balances.
- Maintain accounting records and ensure all transactions are properly supported and recorded.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate unusual transactions and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and efficient accounting processes.
- Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting activities and other finance-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience will be considered an advantage).
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
