The General Manager leads Cavaway's commercial and operational activity as the Group's trading hub in Cyprus, driving growth in volumes, margins and the partner portfolio, in line with Alexandrion Group's overall strategy.

Requirements:

·       Define and implement Cavaway's commercial strategy: target markets, product mix and distribution partners

·       Build and manage relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers

·       Own the entity's P&L: volumes, margins, operating costs and profitability

·       Negotiate major commercial contracts and terms with external partners

·       Coordinate trading operations, including logistics, documentation and customs/fiscal compliance specific to Cyprus

·       Ensure compliance with local regulations (fiscal, corporate, trade compliance) and Group policies

·       Report regularly to the CEO / Board on results, risks and growth opportunities

·       Collaborate with Group support functions (Legal, Finance, HR) on cross-entity matters

Identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio and target markets

This job is for you if you have:

Experience

·       Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial / trading roles,

·       Minimum 5-7 years in leadership positions

·       Prior experience in international trading, distribution or FMCG/beverages is a strong advantage

·       Experience operating or managing an international entity is a plus

Education

·       University degree in Business, Economics, International Trade or related fields

·       MBA is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

·       Strong negotiation and business development skills

·       Strategic mindset with a strong P&L / results orientation

·       Knowledge of trade finance, international logistics and Incoterms

·       Fluent English (mandatory) and Greek; another language is a plus

·       Leadership skills and ability to manage a small, cross-cultural team

·       Comfortable operating within a complex, multi-entity group environment

Other Requirements

·       Knowledge of Cypriot fiscal/corporate specifics is an advantage (or willingness to align quickly with Legal/Finance support)
