Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities are examples of a successful Learning Support Assistant. However, these are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
• To support the vision, positive ethos and policies of the School.
• To contribute positively towards implementing policies and practices reflecting the School’s commitment to high achievement and effective teaching and learning.
• To liaise with teachers to provide short, medium and long term plans for developing and resourcing the curriculum for pupils.
• To work in partnership with class teachers to achieve the targets set for individual pupils and to provide them with feedback.
• To work in the classroom to support teachers with specific individual pupils.
Requirements
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Be a positive, kind, and caring person
• Good behaviour management skills
• Previous experience in a school setting
• Degree or towards obtaining a degree in Education or similar, will be considered as an advantage
Location
